Kids Brain Health’s goal is to enhance the training of researchers, trainees and technicians within the network. We do this by facilitating networking interactions through sponsorship of workshops, meetings and conferences and by offering training support for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other advanced training positions.
This training support is geared to foster training plans that go beyond the traditional training opportunities offered in academia. We provide our trainees with enriched experiences ranging from the initial research discovery to its practical application.
Since its launch, Kids Brain Health’s National Training Program in Developmental Neurosciences has engaged nearly 100 trainees annually in a suite of value-added career development and training enrichment activities. These include a new Fellowship/Studentship Training Awards program, as well as capacity building through interactive workshops, courses and webinars. We want our trainees to engage with a wide range of opportunities and experiences.
