Hajer (She/Her) has a MA degree in education from the University of Sherbrooke, a PhD in special educational psychology from the University of Montreal, a postdoctoral degree in universal design for learning from the Ontario College of Art and Design University and a postdoctoral degree in inclusive research from the University of Ottawa.

Hajer is an accessibility expert and advocate and a member of the international accessibility professional association. She is also a creative instructional designer accredited by the Canadian Association of instructional designers. She has more than 15 years of experience designing, developing, delivering and evaluating adapted training to diverse audiences. She is an avid researcher in cognitive accessibility and inclusive research with over 50 related scientific publications. Lastly, she is a proud mum enjoying her life with her two boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
