Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy

As an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families, Kids Brain Health Network (KBHN) lives the values and principles inherent in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive community where all feel welcome, safe, accepted, and appreciated. A more equitable, diverse and inclusive community is essential to fostering a better world for the children we serve. It also leverages the excellent, innovative, and impactful research, necessary to advance knowledge and understanding and respond to local, national, and global challenges in neurodevelopmental disabilities. Our organization’s leadership is committed to supporting continuous growth, action, and accountability in all practices and policies.

KBHN has adopted the Simon Fraser University’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy, and together with the values in KBHN’s Team Charter of excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment, dependability, passion, teamwork and acceptance, our team members have a sense of belonging, fairness and mutual respect.
