
Angie Goldsmith
Angie is a passionate advocate for children with dyslexia and other complex learning challenges, as well as for the families who support them. A former teacher and learning specialist, she has developed engaging parent education programs and accessible research briefs for local nonprofits. She stays at the forefront of literacy and neurodiversity research, always eager to gain and apply new knowledge.
Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal experience with neurodiversity, Angie understands the challenges families face in accessing support. She is committed to ensuring families have a voice in shaping the systems that affect them. Her recent participation in the Family Engagement in Research (FER) course reinforced her belief in the power of collaboration between families and researchers to drive meaningful change.
As a member of the KBHN Advisory Committee, Angie is honored to play a role in promoting more equitable, inclusive, and accessible support systems. She is inspired by the collective efforts of families, researchers, and educators working together to improve the lives of children
