Global Head of Neurodevelopment, Genentech
Dr. Sanders received his Bachelor’s in Zoology and Animal Biology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee before completing his internship and residency in psychiatry at UNC. He then did a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry here at Duke. Dr. Sanders went on to a faculty position at Vanderbilt where he was an associate professor and the director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division. In 2017, Dr. Sanders joined the team at Roche where is now the global head of neurodevelopmental disorders and responsible for identifying and developing integrated solutions for neuropsychiatric disorders. Dr. Sanders began Roche’s first digital therapeutic program and is now helping to address the critical unmet medical needs in neuropsychiatry.
