Ryan Stevenson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Western University, the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry’s Program in Neuroscience, and the Brain and Mind Institute. Dr. Stevenson is also a member of the Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders Network, and York University’s Centre for Vision Research. Dr. Stevenson’s research focuses on sensory processing across the lifespan in neurotypical and clinical populations, including autism, schizophrenia, ADHD, and cochlear implant users. Specifically, Dr. Stevenson investigates the cascading role that sensory development has on cognitive and social functioning. Dr. Stevenson’s work is funded by KBHN, NSERC, SSHRC, the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Stevenson has received early career awards from the International Society for Autism Research and Indiana University.
