Daniel Ansari is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at Western University, Canada. He received a BA in Psychology from the University of Sussex, an MSc in Neuroscience from Oxford University and a PhD from University College London. From 2003-2006, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Dartmouth College, USA. In 2009 he received the ‘Early Career Contributions’ Award from the Society for Research in Child Development. In 2011 he was awarded the ‘Boyd McCandless Award’ from the American Psychological Association. He is an associate editor for ‘Mind, Brain and Education’ and ‘Developmental Science’.
