Kids Brain Health Network (KBHN), in partnership with One Child Every Child, hosted an information session to introduce the Indigenous Stream, a funding opportunity designed to support Indigenous-led, community-driven projects that improve outcomes for Indigenous children and youth with neurodisabilities and their families.
The session provided participants with an overview of the Indigenous Stream and guidance on developing a strong application. Speakers explored how the funding opportunity works, what makes an application stand out, and how applicants can move their project ideas forward.
The Indigenous Stream recognizes the importance of supporting solutions that are grounded in Indigenous communities and responsive to their priorities, knowledge and experiences. By supporting Indigenous-led approaches, the initiative aims to advance meaningful and sustainable improvements for Indigenous children, youth and families.
