About KBHF
Kids Brain Health Foundation (KBHF) was established in 2016 to support the mission of the Kids Brain Health Network (KBHN), a national research network working towards better outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDDs). Since 2009, KBHN has united Canada’s leading researchers to improve early identification, effective interventions and family supports.
With your help, the KBHF is dedicated to ensuring that scientific advancements in neurodevelopmental health are transformed into real-world solutions. By partnering with communities, industry, government, and non-profit organizations, KBHF accelerates the implementation of projects that provide measurable benefits to children and families across Canada.

The Brighter Futures Fund
Imagine a world where children with neurodevelopmental disabilities can thrive and reach their full potential. This is the vision behind the Brighter Futures Fund, which supports national initiatives aimed at helping children with autism spectrum disorder, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

By donating securities directly to a charity as opposed to selling them and donating the proceeds, the capital gains tax can be eliminated. This means more money for the charity and a greater charitable tax credit for you.

EQUIVALENCY DETERMINATION CERTIFICATION
NGOsource certifies that KBHN is equivalent to a U.S. public charity. This can make it easier for companies and funders based in the United States to collaborate with our organization.
