Ayesha Siddiqua is a Senior Epidemiologist at the Public Health Agency of Canada and an Assistant Professor (Part-Time) in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. Ayesha completed her doctoral training at McMaster University where she conducted a national study to examine social determinants of health of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using a wide range of population level health databases. Ayesha is passionate about making evidence-based policy recommendations that are grounded in principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). In her various professional roles, she strives to implement an EDI lens when conducting research and is committed to supporting the next generation of researchers in conducting research that will serve the needs of diverse communities.
