Biography

I am a pediatric anesthesiologist. I have research interests in neurodevelopmental outcomes of children undergoing anesthesia.

Vince Kicknosway- father of 4-grandfather of 13-great grandfather of 1- a member of Walpole Island - Loon Clan - he recently retired from The Odawa Native Friendship Centre after a dedicated 44 yrs.

I have worked for over 20 years in the field of developmental disabilities supporting individuals with Down syndrome, Autism, and FASD. I also lead the Adult FASD Diagnostic team at Surrey Place.

Implementation scientist & occupational therapist with clinical and research interests in paediatrics, substance use, neurorehabilitation, technology adoption, knowledge translation/implementation science and evidence informed practice.

Sarah is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Calgary and a Developmental Pediatrician at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. I founded the Precision Neurodevelopment Lab in September 2022 and have established a complementary research and clinical practice focused on children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs).

I desire to advocate for the community model of disability, encourage greater community involvement, and promote the inclusive vision of belonging.
