Zainab Albandari

Zainab is currently a MSc student at Dalhousie University with a double major in Neuroscience and mathematics. Prior to Neuroscience, she completed a Bachelor of Mathematics (King Faisal University).  She also has a diploma in Computer Science (Kiron University). Her interests lie in child neurodevelopment, with a particular focus in children with epilepsy and ADHD.

Kaela started her academic career at the University of Guelph where, through Biomedical Engineering, she specialized in signal processing in conjunction with a foundation in anatomy and pathology. A Master’s degree at the University of Waterloo continued her education and launched her into research.

Celia Kwan

Celia is currently a fourth year medical student at the University of British Columbia. Prior to medical school, she completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at McMaster University with a specialization in Child Health.

Dr. Trish Domi

Her doctoral worked examined hand re-organization following childhood stroke using multi-modal brain imaging techniques. As a post-doctoral fellow, she shifted from studying mechanisms of recovery to mechanisms of injury to the brain in a juvenile rat model of stroke.
