Amber Rieder, Clinical Psychology PhD student, Duke University
Amber’s primary research interests are focused on child, adolescent and caregiver mental health related to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), intimate partner violence, and the subsequent intergenerational transmission of risk. Amber is interested in the development of accessible mental health in underserved communities and the role of community-based parenting and family strengthening programs. Amber’s approach to development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs is through an inclusive Community Based Participatory lens.
Amber has focused on the development and evaluation of technology-assisted mental health assessment and intervention strategies to improve equity and open access to mental health assessment, intervention, training, and monitoring.
