Lonnie Zwaigenbaum

Director of Autism Research, University of Alberta

Dr. Zwaigenbaum is Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. He is also a Clinician Scientist supported by the Stollery Children’s Hospital Chair in Autism, Distinguished Scientist Award of Stollery Science Lab, and national awards from CIHR, Kids Brain Health Network, Brain Canada, and Autism Speaks Canada. His research focuses on early detection and diagnosis, factors influencing development and lived experiences, and approaches to optimizing health care for in individuals on the spectrum and their families. He has been a researcher with KBHN since its inception.
