Mahdieh Yousef, as the Vice-Chair of the KBHN PART Committee 2021, received her doctoral degree in general medicine at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Prior to joining KBHN, Mahdieh was a research assistant at the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta and worked on projects on neurodevelopmental disabilities in children. Her areas of interest include clinical neuroscience, kids’ mental health, and research methodologies in community-based studies. Mahdieh also enjoys teaching and training opportunities, research coordination, and working on communication skills.
