Jacob has twenty years of experience applying the principles of behaviour analysis in fifteen different countries across various settings such as schools, centres, homes, organizations, and hospitals. Currently, Jacob is a founding member of CB Consultants which uses organizational behaviour management and acceptance and commitment training to support value-oriented goal setting at an organizational level. Another ongoing project is ensuring that marginalized communities can access the science of applied behaviour analysis internationally ethically and with a focus on sustainability. Jacob’s passions are ethics, supervision, cultural responsiveness, social justice, compassionate care, and access for underserved communities. Jacob co-authored Understanding Ethics in Applied Behavior Analysis: Practical Applications (Routledge, 2019) and is a co-editor for A Scientific Framework for Compassion and Social Justice; Lessons in Applied Behavior Analysis (Routledge, 2021) a collection of essays by subject-matter experts to discuss social injustice through a behavior analytic lens.
