Dr. Jacqueline Pei, PhD, RPsych
Professor, Faculty of Education – Educational Psychology Dept, University of Alberta
Having begun her career in mental health as a forensic counsellor working with young offenders, she has a special interest in interventions with youth put at risk. Her current clinical and research interests include increasing our understanding of brain-based contributions to functioning for children and youth, and developmental trajectories of mental health. She also have a special interest in identifying and enhancing interventions for individuals with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Her training and clinical experience include clinical neuropsychology and applied psychology. A registered psychologist, Dr. Pei also maintain a private practice in neuropsychological assessment and gear her clinical work towards assessment that informs intervention and contributes to healthy outcomes for complex populations.
