My name is Kelsey! I have cerebral palsy. I have completed my bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph, my Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of Ottawa and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Ottawa in the discipline of Rehabilitation Sciences. My research focuses on father experiences of having children with cerebral palsy. Emphasis is placed on how fathers navigate the continous emotions of becoming and being a father along with shedding light on how disability as a concept is a social construct.
