Maya Pajevic, Mount Royal University
Maya Pajevic is a 3rd year student, completing an undergrad in Information Design (communication degree) with a minor in Social Innovation at Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB.
Maya has served as a patient advisor for nearly 7 years, serving on both a local, provincial and national level. Leveraging her almost two decade experience as a patient and the skills taught in her undergrad to help create a healthcare system that sees patients as equal partners in medical decisions, co-creating better solutions and making the healthcare system kinder and human centred for those that need care, but also those that work in the healthcare space.
When not stirring good trouble as an advisor, or studying, Maya can be found in the mountains- hiking or skiing, traveling and spending endless hours with her dog Dyna.
