Gary Wechsler, FCPA, CA, is currently a strategic advisor to several business enterprises. Previously, he served for over ten years as the Chief Financial Officer of Optimal Group, a publicly listed NASDAQ company. Mr. Wechsler is a past Chairman of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and serves on the Hospital’s President’s Advisory Committee. He served as Chairman of the Hospital’s Audit and Finance Committee for many years. Mr. Wechsler also serves on the Board of the Jewish Eldercare Foundation. Other community service includes serving as Past Treasurer and President of Solomon Schechter Academy and serving on the Board and Finance Committee of Congregation Shaar Hashomayin. Mr. Wechsler has also served on many committees of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants, including Education, Practice Inspection, Discipline, Arbitration, and currently serves on Appeals. Mr. Wechsler is married, and he and his wife have two adult children.
