Patricia is a Physiotherapist and Master’s degree in Health Psychology. She bring experience in research projects related to early childcare interventions, mental health, and occupational health, with an emphasis on the experience of caregivers in different healthcare settings.
She work under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Zwicker as a Graduate student in the Faculty of Kinesiology and School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, bringing her prior clinical and academic expertise to the team and project. Since her early years as a pediatric physiotherapist, she has been deeply motivated to help improve participation for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, designing and implementing health promotional, prevention and rehabilitation initiatives.
Now, as a Ph.D. student, She is highly committed to contributing to impact the lives of children with disabilities through policy and program changes. Her current research focuses on assessing the continuum of care and eligibility for services and support for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
