Rae Martens is a Knowledge Broker with the FER Training Program as well as with the Azrieli Accelerator through the University of Calgary.
Rae is an advocate, science communicator and writer with 10 years of experience as a parent and patient partner in health research. She had the privilege of raising her disabled son Luke for almost 14 years until his passing in 2020. It’s now in his memory that she helps families connect with research in a variety of ways.
