Rowan Apps-Brown

Rowan Apps-Brown is a Fund Development Administration Assistant at the Kids Brain Health Foundation. In addition to her grant writing and research background, Rowan has experience working with and learning alongside peers with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She has seen firsthand the impact that support, resources, and advocacy can have on children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. In previous public-facing roles, Rowan was committed to accessibility and inclusivity. Due to her connections to the communities served by KBHF, the foundation’s mission resonates deeply with Rowan.

Rowan has previous experience working for charities and start-ups. Throughout her career, Rowan has gravitated to the philanthropic sector because she enjoys meaningful work that has a tangible positive impact on the community.

Rowan is pursuing a BA in Ancient and Medieval History. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and gardening.
