Sara Izadi-Najafabadi is a PhD candidate of Rehabilitation Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She works with Dr. Jill Zwicker on a project to investigate the effect of rehabilitation on brain function and structure of children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). She is also leading a project to investigate how transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS)—a non-invasive brain stimulation—can help children with DCD to learn a functional motor task. Sara recently joined UBC Graduate Student Society as the Vice President University and Academic Affairs to introduce new opportunities and increase awareness of existing resources to UBC graduate students.
