Dr. Shauna Kingsnorth is the Director of Academic Affairs at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she leads the Teaching & Learning Institute and Evidence to Care, a knowledge mobilization hub. As a Clinical Study Investigator at the Bloorview Research Institute and Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, University of Toronto, Shauna’s career has been dedicated to advancing research, education, knowledge mobilization, and implementation science in ways that drive meaningful impact.
Trained as a researcher and academic scholar, Shauna has a deep understanding of how to translate research and innovation into real-world implementation and support the scale and spread of evidence-based practices. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Evaluation.
Her involvement with Kids Brain Health Network reflects a commitment to strengthening research that improves outcomes for children and youth with physical disabilities and developmental differences. Shauna values the opportunity to serve on advisory committees where she can help define priorities, drive innovation, and contribute to meaningful care.
