Her personal experiences, having a sibling with mental disabilities and raising a neurodivergent child, have fueled her dedication to this cause. She understands the critical importance of research and support systems for families facing these challenges. Sarah aspires to contribute to impactful programs and shape a future where all children can thrive, regardless of the obstacles they face.
Sarah brings over 25 years of expertise in technology transfer and research contracts. She currently serves as the Director of the Technology Development Office (TDO) at the Provincial Health Services Authority, where she oversees the commercialization of technologies and manages both clinical and non-clinical research contracts. One of Sarah’s passions is working with entrepreneurial researchers, helping them scale their businesses to bring innovative technologies to market and improve patient outcomes.
Her career began with consulting for small startup businesses, working closely with founders and owners on startup and growth strategies. Sarah has also served on nonprofit boards, bringing her wealth of experience to benefit various organizations. She is deeply committed to advancing technologies that can make a meaningful impact at the patient bedside.
