He is Professor and Director of Global Mental Health with the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto.  His research, teaching, and clinical interest include both cultural psychiatry and psychotherapy, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and mindfulness, with projects and collaborations locally, nationally, and internationally, including China, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Annette Majnemer

Dr. Majnemer's research interests focus primarily on early identification strategies for children at high risk for disability and the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence outcomes in children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Sue Robins

Author Sue Robins’ career began as a young hospital volunteer and student nurse before she embarked on a series of health administration roles. She was unexpectedly immersed in health care as a caregiver when her third child was born with Down syndrome.

Susanne Benseler

Susanne Benseler is highly regarded for many achievements in medicine, especially related to advances in precision public health for children. She has led several national and international studies for childhood rheumatic and inflammatory diseases and established an international and interdisciplinary network of investigators for children with inflammatory brain diseases called BrainWorks.
