Corey Fortier

Corey Fortier, Director of Implementation and Programs

Corey has a history of working on large strategic initiatives, building partnerships, and igniting innovation in the pediatric and neurodevelopmental health sectors. He brings extensive leadership experience in the local developmental services sector before transitioning to the national pediatric healthcare association at Children’s Healthcare Canada. He was one of the inaugural managers of CHEO’s Neurodevelopmental Health program where he worked with clinicians to build a new service for neurodiverse children and youth. He founded a successful consulting practice, www.cedarcourageconsulting.com, but was drawn to the mission and vision of KBHN to bridge gaps from prototype to playground, from clinic to classroom, and from lab to livingroom. He also likes alliteration.

Corey lives in Ottawa with his partner and their daughter, where he sits on the Board of Ontario’s largest Community Health Center and is a routine platelet and plasma donor who is always looking to recruit new donors! In his spare time he enjoys competitive kayaking in the summer, skating in the winter, and novice woodworking year-round.
