KBHF, established in 2016, supports the mission of the Kids Brain Health Network (KBHN), a national research network working towards better outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. KBHN unites Canada’s leaders to improve early identification, effective interventions, and family supports.

By donating securities directly to a charity as opposed to selling them and donating the proceeds, the capital gains tax can be eliminated. This means more money for the charity and a greater charitable tax credit for you.

EQUIVALENCY DETERMINATION CERTIFICATION
NGOsource certifies that KBHN is equivalent to a U.S. public charity. This can make it easier for companies and funders based in the United States to collaborate with our organization.
The Equivalency Determination on File “badge” means that the organization was, as of April 15 2024, determined by NGOsource to be equivalent to a U.S. public charity or government instrumentality for a specific funder during a specific period of time.
