Shannon Gill, Chief Fund Development Officer

Shannon is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience across the non-profit, government, and post-secondary education sectors. Throughout her career, she has leveraged her expertise in executive management, organizational change and capacity building, strategic planning, fund development, stakeholder and government relations, communications, and policy development to help organizations achieve and exceed their goals. She has also dedicated significant time to serving on numerous volunteer boards.

Shannon has served as Chief of Staff under four Government of Alberta ministers, including the Ministers of Health and Education, as well as served as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Wildrose Political Association. Additionally, she has held executive leadership positions as Chief of Staff at Northwestern Polytechnic, Executive Director of Drive Happiness Seniors Association and Executive Director of the Grande Prairie Public School Division Education Foundation.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) with a specialization in human resources and organizational behaviour and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Brock University.

Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply engaged in her community, holding leadership roles on various non-profit, community, and political volunteer boards, reflecting her dedication to public service and organizational growth.
