Our featured speaker, Dr. Stephanie Brooks, will walk us through the concepts and real-world applications, offering actionable insights to help attendees build stronger, more effective collaborative communities.
Whether you’re a researcher, practitioner, policymaker, or community leader, this session will offer valuable guidance on strengthening implementation efforts and advancing health equity through learning health systems.

About the Speaker
Stephanie Brooks, PhD, is a long-time member of the University of Alberta. There, she has held UofA research positions at the School of Public Health, the Alberta Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research, and she currently works in the Office of the Vice President (Research & Innovation). Stephanie is a qualitative researcher with a primary focus on transdisciplinary research partnerships with ethno-cultural communities, equity-denied groups, and Alberta Health Services. Moreover, Stephanie is a certified implementation practitioner. Stephanie’s PhD research explored the intersections of implementation science and learning health systems. This research received funding from a CIHR Canadian Graduate Student – Doctoral Award. She is also a recipient of a 2023 Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Scholarship.
