Communications Manager

Katie is a content strategist with more than seven years of experience across the academic, private, and non-profit sectors.

Before joining KBH+, she wrote articles and developed campaigns in support of philanthropic initiatives and events at UHN Foundation, and managed social media at the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation. Joining the KBH+ team was a natural next step for Katie to continue creating meaningful content and leading strategic communications plans.

Combining her extensive experience in marketing and communications with her passion for impactful storytelling, Katie is excited to elevate the KBH+ brand and deliver content that inspires, educates and engages audiences.

She holds an Ontario College Diploma in Print Journalism from Sheridan College, an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from York University, and a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from the Joint Graduate Program at Toronto Metropolitan University and York University. Katie lives in Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, thrift shopping, reading, cooking, and baking.
