Sue Robins

Author Sue Robins’ career began as a young hospital volunteer and student nurse before she embarked on a series of health administration roles. She was unexpectedly immersed in health care as a caregiver when her third child was born with Down syndrome.

Susanne Benseler

Susanne Benseler is highly regarded for many achievements in medicine, especially related to advances in precision public health for children. She has led several national and international studies for childhood rheumatic and inflammatory diseases and established an international and interdisciplinary network of investigators for children with inflammatory brain diseases called BrainWorks.

Tracy Moisan

As a parent to 3 youth with complex needs who experienced the child welfare system at an early age, Tracy deeply understands the need for ongoing, trauma-informed, attachment-centered supports for families. She’s a passionate advocate for increased understanding of neurodiversity and supporting children and families from a lifespan approach, so they can all thrive.

Valerie Temple

I have worked for over 20 years in the field of developmental disabilities supporting individuals with Down syndrome, Autism, and FASD. I also lead the Adult FASD Diagnostic team at Surrey Place.

Vanessa Tomas

Vanessa Tomas, M.Sc., is a SSHRC-funded Ph.D. candidate in the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute and Collaborative Program in Neuroscience.

Vinny Kicknosway

Vince Kicknosway- father of 4-grandfather of 13-great grandfather of 1- a member of Walpole Island - Loon Clan - he recently retired from The Odawa Native Friendship Centre after a dedicated 44 yrs.

Yu Shi

I am a pediatric anesthesiologist. I have research interests in neurodevelopmental outcomes of children undergoing anesthesia.
